The Tank Museum's 4th Annual Indoor Car and Bike Show was a great success. The show brought in 130 of Southern Virginia's best cars, trucks and bikes. The participates were displayed in 44 different classes. The first 60 participates received goody bags with many nice items including, free food. The first 100 cars were also given dash plaques.

The raffles this year were tremendous with well over 100 items being raffled off. Through donations by local businesses, the museum was able to gather items ranging from hats and t-shirts to Rotary Tool Kits and bottle jacks. There was even a 12x11' roll of carpet raffled off.

Each year the museum likes to thank the participates by having a raffle based solely around them. When each car enters the show, the driver's name is put in a hat. We than draw names from those participates only. This year there were three items given away:

  • 1st drawing - Rotary Tool Kit
  • 2nd drawing - Home Tool Kit
  • 3rd drawing - Brand New Rolling Tool Box

  • This was a fun day for all and the museum had over 530 people attend the show.

The museum's 5th Annual Indoor Car and Bike Show on November 1st, 2008, will be bigger and better. With even more classes and a few more added surprises. So mark your calendar for Southern Virginia's best Indoor Car and Bike Show!
