German Tiger I Late Version 1/35 Scale Model Tank!
About the Tiger I Tank:
At the time of its introduction in 1942, the German Tiger I was the most powerful and sophisticated tank in the world,
and is still considered a weaponry masterpiece of that era. Equipped with the awesome 88mm main gun and
protected with 100mm thick armor plate in front, the German Tiger I was rightly feared and respected by the
Allied armies. Later versions of the Tiger I went into production in January 1944, and featured slight improvements
over earlier models. Engine power was upgraded and rubber rimmed roadwheels were replaced with new wheels
that ran on steel rims. Changes were made to the turret including a commander?s cupola with seven vision ports,
an anti-aircraft machine gun ring and a loader?s hatch with periscope. The Tiger I first saw action against the
Soviets near Leningrad, and went on to serve with distinction on the Eastern, Western and African fronts.
