PILLOW CASES

This is just a small sample of the 42 Tank and Cavalry pillow cases that the museum exhibits. These pillow cases were very popular during W.W.II. Some of them were hand made and some are of commercial production. A soldier could purchase these pillow cases at the base PX as gifts to sent back home.

MOTHER
To one who bears the sweetest name
And adds a luster to the same
Who shares my joys who cheers when sad
The greatest Friend I ever had
Long Life to her for there's no other
Could take the place of my dear Mother
