ADOPT A TANK

tank museum bunker

Here is a picture of the bunker that has been built to house an artillery piece. This was made possible through donations by several people to the adopt - a - tank campaign.

This bunker is a great hit with the kids, as it is like a fort that they can get into.

tank Quad 50 The move is complete, the renovations to the facility are in full swing, but there is much more that is needed! The Museum has full scale displays that need to be built for the 99 large collection pieces. The goal is to have each piece in life like dioramas. A tank used during Vietnam will be in a jungle setting, a tank used in Desert Storm will be in a sand type display. But all that takes a large amount of funding to make it happen. All proceeds received thru the Adopt a Tank go to the set up of a tank or artillery piece. The Donor will have their name displayed beside a vehicle or artillery piece showing their support in helping to Preserve the Memories!

The Museum's thanks go out to all those who have helped with
the transportation of the museum collection.
